Sunday 25th April

We left the hotel around midday just to do a little shopping in the backstreets. It soon became apparent that I hadn't had enough water the previous day and I started to suffer quite early on with dehydration. Everything seemed like a struggle even drinking.

We didn't stay out too long but we were met by a talking dog. Whilst sitting under the shade of a tree by the lake, a medium sized dog came up, buried his nose in my hand and scratched at my leg with his paw, making some very strange noises in the process. It looked as if he was asking us to get him some food and the strange sound was actually "Chapati".

Off to the shop we went to get the dog a Chapati while he took our spot under the shade. Asked by the shop assistant what we'd like I replied, "nothing, but the talking dog would like something". As he had no Chapati we settled for a packet of McVities Digestives for 10 Rupees.

The dog liked them and we laughed walking back as we'd been treating ourselves to local biscuits at 6 Rupees and spent 10 on the dog. The sun must be getting stronger.

Back at the hotel, I fell asleep pretty quickly, waking up around 7ish to watch the cricket final whilst Serena read a book.
